On Saturday, July 28, 2007, four days after my leg cast came off, I was up shooting video at the Rambler/AMC/Jeep show in Kenosha, WI, the largest such show in the country. Felt real good to be back on two legs again. And before you start writing in with blood in your eyes, yes, I know the Alliance pictured isn't an '83; convertibles didn't come out till a few years later. This one was the only one at the show. Encores, Medallions, Sportwagons and Premiers weren't there at all. You owners of '83 to '88 Renault cars should be better represented at next year's show; they were as much a part of the AMC story as the Rambler and the Jeep.

Maksim Chmerkovskiy makes an appearance on "All My Children". Can't say he had much of substance to do but at least he looked pretty... Boy, I'll miss him this season.

FOR SALE: $17,500 HAND BUILT PRO/STREET & SHOW CAR THIS IS A CLIP OF MY FATHERS RAMBLER ON JUNE 10, 2007 WEEKEND AT SHADYSIDE DRAGWAY DURING THE KING OF THE SOUTH 10.5 OUTLAW RACE. WE DIDN'T HAVE IT HAMMERED TO THE FLOOR OR HEATED THE TIRES UP, BUT WE RAN IT BEFORE AND IT RAN IN THE MID 7'S SPINNING OFF THE LINE. IT HAS A CHEVY 388CI STROKER (500 PLUS HP) I COULD LIST ALL THE SPECS, BUT THERE ARE TO MANY TO LIST. FUTURE PLANS ARE UPGRADE TO THE ENGINE AND TRANNY. THINKING OF ADDING A HUFFER(BLOWER) BUT WE WILL SEE. THIS IS FAR THE BADDEST AMC RAMBLER IN THE CAROLINA'S......MAYBE WE WILL MAKE HER A OUTLAW 10.5 LIKE Ken Rainwater's 1966 Rambler - Outlaw 10.5 - Twin Turbo 526 Hemi--4.64sec @ 163.00mph

Some more video of the tan car, with a clip of a huge Jeep on PSH '05. Proof that big tires don't necessarily equal traction.

Amber Tamblyn interview on AMC's Shootout. Talking about her Independant Spirit award nomination for Staphanie Daley

My thoughts and feelings the entire series all the way up to (disgusted sigh) Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning.

Kendall and Greenlee get in a bar fight at the Pit with Tiny. Aidan and Trey have to break it up. 11-20-02

My daily driver 1981 Jeep CJ-5 with a .030 over AMC 360 V8 with a little bit of work done to it. Edelbrock 600cfm Performer carb Edelbrock Performer Intake CompCams 268H AMC camshaft with matched timing set Stock ignition system for the most part Everything else is explained in the video. Filmed on a high 20 F degree day. This Jeep is too much fun and the AMC V8's are very strong motors. This one has about 6,000 miles on it since the engine rebuild. The speedometer is accurate give or take 2-3mph, checked with a GPS. The T176 is a great transmission and has never skipped a beat. I've wheeled it pretty hard and put it through some hell on the street and at the strip with several tire size/gear combinations. 3rd gear redlines at about 90mph with the current setup. I've never really gotten much into 4th gear. For you guys who have shown concern regarding the suspension, steering, etc... It has all been refurbished/upgraded to stock/better than stock condition. It drives very well, straight and true down the road and is almost nothing like the stereotypical CJ when it comes to its road manners.
